I guess this is a good place to start! Many of you may be thinking, ‘when is Fathers Day in Australia’? It’s a fair question. Fathers Day occurs on different days for many different countries around the world.
In the UK, USA & Canada and most parts of the world Fathers Day is celebrated on the third Sunday of June. Fathers Day 2009 was on 21st June.
In Spain and Belgium Fathers Day 2009 was celebrated on 19 March.
So these have passed already.
In Sweden Fathers Day is celebrated on second Sunday of November, so Fathers Day 2009 will be celebrated on 8th November in Sweden.
In Australia and New Zealand Fathers Day is celebrated on the first Sunday of September, so Fathers Day 2009 will be celebrated on 6th September 2009.
Hopefully that clears things up for those of you who are confused about the date!
